WCC - Market Testing Supported Accommodation for Children in Care/Care Leavers and Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) aged 16/17 and those who continue to need support post 18
The Warwickshire Supported Accommodation Framework contract expires on 30th June 2025 and the Council needs to consider options for new services to commence from 1st July 2025.
WCC wants to understand the market and ensure that it continues to commission value for money, quality supported accommodation services that best meet the needs of the young people in its care.
Your participation will also contribute ideas as to how the current services may be improved.

Accommodation with support provides young people leaving care who are 16/17 years old and/or UASC, with a safe living environment where they are supported to develop the skills and experience to enable them to move safely to independent living in the future.
Supported accommodation is not expected to provide 'care' in the same way as children's homes and young people typically have more independence and autonomy.
