The Council aims to provide cost effective and excellent housing services for their tenants.

The demand for council housing continues to increase, and as housing plays a key role in people's health and wellbeing, it is essential that we ensure our housing meets the needs and aspirations of its residents, now and in the future.

Tender Specification RMBC are currently tendering for a Tenant and Residents Federation in Rotherham for a four year period.

We are seeking tenders from suitably qualified providers with experience of running a tenant support organisation with tenant involvement at the core of their organisation.

RMBC is seeking tenders from companies to commence this work on 1st April 2016 for a period of up to four years.

General Requirements of the Contract The service will support the achievement of the vision for the Rotherham Tenant Involvement Strategy which includes the following objectives: Make tenant involvement an integral part of our business by involving and consulting tenants to shape services to best meet their needs.

Ensure that we are fully inclusive and provide opportunities to widen engagement by offering a range of ways that tenants can get involved, at a level and pace that is accessible to all.

To provide and support training and development opportunities to enable all tenants and staff to make a difference.

To maximise accountability and value for money to ensure that tenants have confidence in our services.
