Kettering General Hospital Nhs Trust
The production of As Fitted record drawings of the Medical Gas Pipeline Systems at Kettering General Hospital.
This sits below the typical range for Chemical Products contracts — a smaller, more accessible award. Based on 1,041 valued Chemical Products tenders in our corpus.
A requirement of HTM02-01 and the Pressure System Safety Regulations is that the estates department should have accurate and up to date drawings of the MGPS showing main sections and branches, departments served, control valves, terminal units and alarm systems for each medical gas service.
A schematic diagram of the installation should also be provided.
In addition to this each isolating valve and AVSU should be individually identified by a unique reference number.
The appropriate reference number, corresponding to that shown on the drawings, should be displayed at or on each isolating valve.
The drawing should indicate the type and make of terminal units.
The Trust therefore requires fixed costs for the following: 1.
Provision of a full set of 'As-Fitted' drawings of the medical gas pipeline systems 2.
A full set of schematic drawings of each medical gas system including AGSS 3.
A full set of isometric drawings of each medical gas system including flow rates 4.
Each isolating valve and AVSU to be fitted with a Traffolyte tag/label with a unique reference number and in accordance to HTM02-01 Appendix K.
5.
Install new valve locks to existing Line valves.
6.
Verify all existing AVSU keys and replace any missing as required.
7.
Provide 2 x new key cabinets (1 x for AVSU and 1 x for Line Valves) complete with an AVSU and Valve schedule.
The schedule should correspond to AVSU & valve numbers entered on the drawings.
8.
Marked up department drawings at each AVSU showing what is connected to the AVSU's to assist with emergency situations/shut downs
