Open List for Community Pharmacies in Buckinghamshire to provide Public Health Services
Buckinghamshire Council (BC) is seeking to create an open list of suitably qualified and experienced community pharmacies to provide a range of public health services to Buckinghamshire residents.
This service is for: • Emergency Contraception Pharmacies will need to be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council, have community premises registered in Buckinghamshire and have appropriately qualified pharmacy staff able to deliver the services.
The Open List will be open for new applications from the date of publication of the documents and will remain open for new applications from Pharmacies at any time during the Open List term.
Successful applicants will be required to sign the Public Health Services Contract.
You will be required to have an appropriately robust financial status, levels of insurance as detailed in the contract, and appropriate safeguarding measures are in place e.g.
DBS check of relevant staff.
These must be provided to the Council on request.
Pharmacies delivering services on behalf of BC must be able to provide services that are responsive to the needs of different groups in the community.
This is not a competitive tender process but pharmacies wishing to express their interest in delivering services are requested to register on the Council's portal www.supplybucksbusiness.org.uk The relevant documentation (specifications, contract and response form) will be available there for download.
Services start date: 1 April 2023 Value of all contracts: Variable depending on services provided Contract period: 5 years
