The Department For Culture Media & Sport
Building condition survey for Blythe House.
This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
This sits below the typical range for Real Estate Services contracts — a smaller, more accessible award. Based on 3,366 valued Real Estate Services tenders in our corpus.
Blythe House is a Grade 2 listed property built in 1899 as offices for the Post Office savings bank.
It is located at the eastern edge of the Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham on Blythe Road adjacent to Olympia.
The building is currently occupied jointly by the British Museum (BM), Science Museum Group (SMG) and Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A), and owned by Government.
DCMS would like a high level, but robust survey to evidence the future maintenance and major repair costs to keep the building and surrounding estate at Blythe House operational and fit-for-purpose in its current use, for the next 30 years.
