The service outcomes are: • Reduction in school absence due to medical reasons • Early identification of health needs which may require early help • Health Assessment of children identified with serious safeguarding and protection concerns to inform strategic decision making • Where there is an identified health issue requiring a school health based response the service will contribute to the plan using the care pathways The service will also contribute to the following Public Health Outcome Framework Children and Young People Outcomes: • Reducing pupil absence • Reducing first time entrants into the youth justice system • Reducing the number of 16-18 year olds not in education, employment or training (NEET) • Reducing excess weight in 10-11 year olds • Reducing self harm • Improved sexual health indicated by reductions in STIs and teenage pregnancies
