HR, Payroll, Finance and Procurement Systems - Soft Market Testing
Salford City Council (SCC) is considering options in relation to its current Enterprise, Resource, Planning (ERP) system, currently provided by SAP.
In preparation for this, it is the intention to hold some soft market testing (preliminary market consultations) workshops to review the current supply market.
The same information will be gathered from all providers who wish to participate in the Soft Market testing.
SCC currently uses SAP as its core business solution for Finance, Payroll and Procurement services delivered for the council and external clients.
SAP ERP is now approaching end of life and as a result, investment is needed to upgrade our current, on-premise solution to SAP's latest technology.
Given the level of investment required the intention of this exercise is to undertake a review of the current market offerings to support Salford City Council in delivering its core business services, whilst take a fresh approach to how these are delivered and to transform how we deliver these services.
The purpose of this soft market test is to gain intelligence on the supply market for our system needs, including timescales and indicative budget.
SCC will be interested at looking at possible options surrounding: ERP solutions / Best of breed HR and Payroll solutions / Best of breed Finance and Procurement solutions.
Interested parties should respond to this advert and return completed questionnaires by 5pm on Monday 12th February 2024.
Supplier workshops will be held in March 2024.
