Brief description: The service is generally focused on but not completely for people who have a dementia diagnoses.
The main duties include supporting people to engage in meaningful activities Supporting people with occasional personal care Supporting people to keep safe due to their confusion Supporting people to mobilise to and from the dining room, toilet etc To promote independence and dignity To work well with existing day care staff members and managers to deliver a valued service You will require experience with working with Older people with a physical or mental health need.
A good level of written and verbal communication This role will require working days and evening and weekends and also be required to work on Bank Holidays, working hours are 21 hours per week working 7.30am -2.30pm and 2.30pm- 10.00pm This role requires an enhanced Barring Adults DBS Check.
This role falls inside of IR35.
This role also requires the worker to enter a CQC regulated setting, therefore proof of the Covid 19 Vaccine will be required.
