Evaluation services for Royal Armouries formal education programme
Expressions of interest are sought by the Royal Armouries for consultancy services to develop and deliver an evaluation of the organisation’s formal education programme (early years to adult learning) and in particular of the response to the revised National Curriculum at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds and at Fort Nelson in Hampshire.
The research exercise will evaluate: - the new education programme, its composition, approach and content at both sites; - its appeal and usefulness to its target audiences; - the RA’s education service operation in respect of the new offer (bookings, facilities, logistics of the visit); - the marketing and promotion of the education offer at each site.
In addition, consultants will be invited to make recommendations in respect of the potential of the study of arms and armour within the NC14 (National Curriculum 2014) and in expanding the service’s reach in Yorkshire and Hampshire.
