Expressions of Interest (EOI) are invited from Building Contractors wishing to pre-register to tender for the proposed contract to carry out minor building alterations & refurbishment works at Cotswold House, Malmesbury.
Malmesbury Community Campus is part of the councils wider community campus programme.
The council is developing campuses and hubs in a number of community areas across the County.
A campus is a building, or collection of buildings and venues, that supports the services that communities have identified that they need, in easy to access locations.
The services, along with council services, can include partner organisations such as the police, health and voluntary sector organisations.
The facility will comprise a multi-purpose activity space for the community, voluntary and charity groups, the council and other public sector services.
Performance and exhibition space.
A basic domestic level food preparation area, an access control system to facilitate community access whilst safeguarding the facility and upgrade to existing M&E services.
Wiltshire Council require the works to be undertaken as soon as possible and with this in mind the intent is that tenders will be issued on the 2nd August to the firms that register an interest for this opportunity before 12.00 noon on the 29th July 2016, with the requirement that tenders are returned not later than 12:00 noon on 23rd August 2016.
Works are expected to commence on site in September 2016 and be completed by December 2016.
Tenderers must be able to demonstrate experience in refurbishment and alteration projects in existing occupied buildings, preferably in similar community projects.
