RAAC Replacement Works, Haywood Hospital
This sits below the typical range for Construction contracts — a smaller, more accessible award. Based on 64,002 valued Construction tenders in our corpus.
The Trust is currently engaged in a project to replace their current Outpatient facility at Haywood Hospital with a new two-storey facility.
This is due to the ongoing issue with a number of buildings across the country suffering with RAAC syndrome previously used in the construction.
The demolition of the existing building is currently being undertaken by the Trust as an enabling contract.
This project is for the construction of a replacement two-storey Outpatient facility which will link back to the existing PFI building on the site.
To this end the following documents are available/to be made available to allow a contractor to submit a tender.
The envisaged programme of works is a start on site on or about the 3rd January 2024 with a completion by 28th March 2025.
