Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (The Employer) requires a Contractor is required to provide supply and maintenance of firefighting equipment (The Service) at its Sites, including, but not limited to: - The Queen's Medical Centre, Derby Road, Lenton, Nottingham, NG7 2UH - Nottingham City Hospital, Hucknall Road, Nottingham, NG5 1PB - Ropewalk House, 113 The Ropewalk, Nottingham, NG1 6HA The Service comprises the commissioning of new equipment, the re-fixing of any loose or repositioned items, performance of discharge testing, servicing and maintenance of water, AFFF, Co2, wet chemical, dry powder, foam fire extinguishers, as well as associated maintenance, including dry riser and hydrant tests.
Further, the Supplier will be responsible for service inspections, removal and disposal of condemned equipment, installation of necessary parts, and the replacement of missing or worn labels, safety clips, caps, and seals.
In addition, the Supplier will be responsible for providing comprehensive maintenance and testing reports to demonstrate compliance with relevant fire safety regulations.
The Contract Period is 9 months with the option to extend for a further 48 months.
This extension shall take the form of four 12 month incremental periods.
