East Kent CCGs Hospice At Home market engagement
The Commissioner (the four NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups of East Kent: NHS Ashford CCG, NHS Canterbury and Coastal CCG, NHS South Kent Coast CCG, and NHS Thanet CCG) are seeking to engage with organisations who are potentially interested in providing a home based End of Life (EOL) Care Support Service.
The function of the provider will be to ensure timely and easy access to packages of care at home for patients who are at the end of their lives with a priority on improving the co-ordination of care to enable EOL patients to die in their place of choice.
A future provider must be able to provide patients with a package of care as determine by the referring health care professional and be able to then meet the length and frequency of home visits when they are required both the day and night.
The Commissioner would like to consider approaches from experienced providers in this field to test the viability of the draft service specification and to consider the procurement options.
To this end the Commissioner is holding a market engagement event at the office of NHS South Kent Coast CCG from 9am to 12.30pm on Thursday 6 July 2017.
Parties wishing to attend the event should express their interest by email, to arrive before 12 noon on Monday 3 July 2017.
We ask that no more than 3 representatives attend from each interested organisation.
