We are in the process of planning significant development projects for both IWM London and IWM Duxford.
For IWM London, we are planning the second phase of Transforming IWM London which will include a brand new Second World War Galleries, which is currently proposed to open early 2020.
For IWM Duxford, we are in the process of developing a long-term masterplan for the overall site, which will include a review of the narrative story.
In order to help inform the development of the visitor experience at both branches, we therefore wish to undertake some research into people’s knowledge, interest and understanding of both the Second World War and the Cold War and their expectations in terms of how stories relating to these two historical periods should be told
