The brief

Market Engagement Event NHS Midlands & Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (ML CSU) on behalf of the Commissioners, NHS Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland Clinical Commissioning Group (LLR CCG) would like to invite providers to attend a 'Market Engagement Event' which will inform the market of the Commissioner's intentions to procure a new service for Mental Health Navigation and Triage.

The aim of all the services is to deliver essential, additional and enhanced services to registered patients in Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland.

It is proposed that the terms and conditions of all the services, including tariff arrangements, will reflect those contained in contract.

The LLR Mental Health Triage and Navigation Service will triage Children and Young People who are referred to them and signpost them to the most appropriate service to meet their needs.

The main benefits and expected outcomes are: Equity of access and quality of the service across Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland Ensuring value for money and the most efficient use of available resources across the health and social care economy Promoting and ensuring a positive patient experience Aligning services to deliver the GP 5 Year Forward View The Market Engagement Event will take place on Friday 11th January 2019 from 10:30 am until 11:30 am and will take place at St John's House, 8th Floor, Conference Room, 30 East Street, Leicester, LE1 6NB.

The Market Engagement Event will provide: • an overview of the service to be provided. • details of the anticipated service, contract type, length and particular conditions. • an overview of the procurement process. • an opportunity for you to ask questions and feedback on the presentations.

Places are strictly limited therefore reservations are restricted to no more than 2 persons per organisation.

Prior Information Notice The Provider must ensure services are appropriate to local needs, access and convenience are important aspects of a patient-centred service, but it is also vital that the services are appropriate and responsive to the needs of the local population.

The LLR Mental Health Triage and Navigation service will triage children and young people who are referred to them and signpost them to the most appropriate service to meet their needs.

The contract length will be 3 years with an option to extend for a further 1 year subject to satisfactory review.
