The brief

Lancaster University and Lancaster University Students' Union is inviting expressions of interest (EOI) from suppliers interested in tendering.

The winning bidder will be required to provide both performance kit and leisurewear (male and female) to a variety of clubs for approximately 40 sports.

This will support the Student Unions' goal of standardising a Lancaster University image across all teams.

Lancaster University requires any supplier awarded the contract to start mobilisation in April 2024 for a delivery date the end of July 2024.

The Student Union would require any candidates to be able to provide an overview of their sustainability policy and procedures.

With the university sporting season spanning such a short window from October to March, lead times are significant for both team wear and leisure wear/personal items, and should therefore be made readily available within 3-4 weeks from the date of order.

The successful supplier would need to be able to provide flexible garments with not just 'male' and 'female', but also unisex options, so that visually there is coherence.

The successful supplier will also be required to provide individual Lancaster University Students' Union branded products online where students can view products and place orders direct for themselves.
