Nottinghamshire County Council (the Council) is seeking tenders, on behalf of Rushcliffe Borough Council (RBC) (the Council) through the EEM0046 Framework To provide the RBC with an EWI programme to cover a fuel poverty low carbon/renewable energy housing project.
Rushcliffe Borough Council needs a contractor to deliver this via the following criteria as soon as possible.
To take on the role of identifying 3 bed semi-detached properties in East Leake that are of hard-to-treat construction (HTT) come up with a solution to get them to a modern thermal standard using a solution that meets all safety/energy standards.
It will also be the responsibility of the successful bidder to ensure that any changes in PAS/MCS/TrustMark legislation in amended and implemented within the correct timeframes stipulated by the respective certification bodies during the lifetime of the scheme.
All aspects of the project will be managed in line with new updated PAS:2035/2030 and Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) throughout the entire process.
It will be the responsibility of the successful contractor to do this and report back to Rushcliffe Borough Council monthly in line with Midlands Net Zero Hub reporting guidelines.
The successful contractor will be required to manage the customer journey, collect relevant data required and report this also to Rushcliffe Borough Council.
This will also include managing any disputes, queries and provide non-technical guidance/literature for the installed system.
Should funding be suddenly withdrawn, then the successful contractor is expected to make good on the properties that are already underway.
Any subcontractors used in the process are also expected to meet all the minimum trade standards such as TrustMark, MCS and again PAS:2035/2030.
Associated works may be required including loft insulations and solar photovoltaic installations but is not guaranteed under this contract.
