The brief

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Suffolk is seeking a countywide Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) service to safeguard, through effective safety planning, victims of domestic abuse who are assessed as high risk and reduce their risk.

The Suffolk Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) service was first commissioned by the PCC in 2014 and subsequently in 2018.

In order to provide continuity of a service for high-risk victims of domestic abuse in Suffolk.

Ensuring value for money for the public purse, the Office of the PCC shall be embarking on this procurement process with the intention to award a contract to start from 1st October 2023.

The Authority are seeking to award a Three-year contract with the option to extend for 2 x 12 months, totalling a five year contract term.

The maximum budget available is £3,450,000.00 for the full contract term, this figure is based on a budget of £690,000 per annum.
