PR19 - Furniture Requirement
This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
This sits in the lower-middle of the Furniture & Furnishings band — a mid-scale opportunity. Based on 5,729 valued Furniture & Furnishings tenders in our corpus.
Ofwat would like to increase the provision of workstations (full working desk set-up) in both its Birmingham and London offices as specified in the ITT.
Scope of work will consist of 2 separate requirements.
Clause 2.3 will consist of known requirements, whilst clause 2.4 will consist of further call offs as required.
As part of the evaluation process, we will be assessing the price of the items required under clause 2.3.
The contract is estimated to commence on 24th November 2017 and will end three years later on 23rd November 2020.
2.3 List of known items required for both Birmingham and London offices can be found in the ITT.
Comment 1: where we have specified a particular item/product, it is due to the need for consistency throughout Ofwat offices.
However where it is possible to obtain an equivalent product elsewhere then this will be acceptable provided it is equivalent in terms of resilience and aesthetics.
2.4 Future Call Off Requirements: Follow up requirements for the London office will consist of a further need to install additional workstations - these could be core or non-core items.
Quantities are still to be decided.
Any additional future requirements not specified above will be called off as required for the remainder of the contract period.
2.5 Key Tasks The installation for the London office must be before 8 January 2018, unless agreed otherwise with Ofwat.
The installation for the Birmingham office can follow and must be before 31 January 2018, unless otherwise agreed with Ofwat.
To respond to any future customer call off requirements.
All call off requirements that are specified as core items shall comply with the listings and prices in the framework agreement with successful bidder.
