East Sussex County Council (ESCC) is issuing this Invitation to Tender as a Further Competition under Lot 1- General Occupational Health Services of ESPO's Occupational Health Services Framework (reference 985_19).
This joint procurement, managed by East Sussex County Council, is also on behalf of Surrey County Council (SCC) and Brighton and Hove City Council (B&HCC).
It will result in 3 separate contracts for the provision of an Occupational Health Service and Employee Assistance Programme.
Each contract will be for the use of the Customer's corporate employees, councillors and, where indicated in the specification, their school employees as well as the employees of academies and other types of schools that are not under Local Authority control.
The objectives of the procurement are to select a single Service Provider who is able to: o deliver the requirements for both an Occupational Health Service and Employee Assistance Programme detailed in the Specification; and o a quality and value for money service; Each Contract will be in place for an initial period of 3 years, with an option to extend for a further period or periods up to a total of 2 years taking the contract term to a maximum of 5 years.
The Contracts are intended to start on 1 April 2021.
The awarded value represents the minimum expected spend of East Sussex County Council, Brighton and Hove City Council and Surrey County Council combined.
