The brief

MAINTENANCE, REPAIR, BREAKDOWN ATTENDANCE & REPLACEMENT OF CAR PARK BARRIERS, GATES AND AUTOMATIC DOOR OPENING UNIT.

The Contractor's office shall be quality assured to ISO 9001 and proof of the accreditation shall be provided with the Tender.

It is a condition of the contract, that registration shall be maintained for the full period of the contract.

The Contractor's administrative system shall identify all failures/breakdowns within a 12-month period following a repair or renewal of any parts or equipment.

The system will be computer based and capable of providing reports on the demand of the Service Manager.

It will detail the full service history including dates of all service visits and call-out attendance's.

BREAKDOWNS OR FAILURE 2.1 Where the contractor is required to attend Breakdown or Failure call outs associated with a System, the Contractor shall put the system in full or temporary working order within the same day or the next working day.

2.2 The Contractor shall ensure that up to four calls for Breakdown or Failure can be dealt with at any one time.

The Contractor shall provide and maintain a call out telephone number and service during out of work periods including weekends, night, Bank Holidays, etc at no extra cost to the Employer and such numbers and amended numbers shall be available to the Employer.

2.3 All ' Out of Hours ' Call Outs will be paid where appropriate at the rates tendered in this Specification.

All Breakdown and Failure work carried out shall be reported to the Service Manager on the next working day by way of a Service Report noting the reason and circumstances of the Call Out, the work carried out and what work is necessary for a full repair if the system that has been left in temporary working order
