Notice of advance consultation on specification
Kent and Medway Eating Disorder Service Redesign – Service Specification Consultation Kent and Medway CCGs, comprising West Kent, Medway, Swale, Dartford Gravesham and Swanley, Ashford, Thanet, Canterbury and Coastal, and South Kent Coast CCGs are currently working together to redesign the eating disorder service.
Our vision is to provide a specialist early intervention all age service which provides evidence based treatment and complies with the Governments new Access and Waiting Time Standards for Children and Young People with an Eating Disorder.
We are holding a Service Specification Consultation Event and invite attendance from service delivery experts who will be able to comment and provide clinical guidance on the draft service specification and pathway.
The event is to be held on Thursday 14th July, 13.00 – 16.00 at The Angel Centre, Tonbridge, Kent, TN9 1SF.
This event is to look at the service specification only, and any procurement process will not be discussed at the event.
Although the CCGs are undertaking this consultation and value contributions from interested organisations and individuals, the CCGs reserve all rights to issue a specification as they deem appropriate.
Potential providers / Providers wishing to attend the Service Specification Consultation Event should email their interest to zenawatson@nhs.net by 16:00 on Monday 4th July 2016, with the following details: • Name of attendee(s) • Job title of attendee(s) • Organisation details, including address and contact details Please ensure that the title of the email contains the reference of this advert.
Please note that attendance will be limited to a maximum of 2 attendees per organisation at this stage.
An agenda will be issued to Providers prior to the event.
In the event that you are unable to attend but would like to receive a copy of any presentation materials, please send an email to zenawatson@nhs.net and copies will be sent to you.
Please note the issuance of this Contracts Finder Notice and the holding of the Specification Event does not commit the Commissioners to the commencement of any formal tender process.
An expression of interest to attend this service specification consultation event is no indication of a commitment to participate in any future tender process nor does it infer any special status on those Providers who do attend.
An expression of interest in this event will not automatically entitle involvement in any future procurement exercise.
Any procurement conducted as a result of this event will be advertised separately in Contracts Finder and OJEU.
All organisations wishing to participate in the process will need to respond to the procurement advertisement as and when it is published.
Providers who do not attend this service specification consultation event will still be able to participate.
This service specification consultation event does not represent a formal stage in any procurement or evaluation process.
