The brief

Defra procuring on behalf of Natural England: This is a partnership project between Natural England and Kent County Council the purpose of which is to enable work on the coastal path in Kent (including the stretches: Ramsgate to Folkestone, Camber to Folkestone, Ramsgate to Whitstable, Whitstable to Iwade, Iwade to Grain, Isle of Sheppey, Grain to Gravesend to Eastbourne The project will be collaboration between Kent County staff and Natural England's staff to: • Provide expertise and advice in a range of disciplines.

These include coastal processes and coastal monitoring, foreshore and beach management, recreation and access management, social and economic, biodiversity management and coastal estate management. • Provide informed assistance to Natural England in making decisions regarding any management measures. • Provide a critical steer to the project via management inputs to Natural England
