The brief

1.1 Merseyside Fire and Rescue Authority (MFRA) invite bids for Scientific Support in which to assist the National Resilience Detection, Identification and Monitoring (DIM) capability.

Due to the scientific nature of the DIM function the need for scientific support is a central underpinning requirement of the National Resilience CBRN(e) capability.

The provision will require support and assistance in the delivery of DIM course material.

Current course content includes acquisition learning and maintenance of skills.

The Provider will assist the DIM Capability Team to achieve aims, objectives and learning outcomes (as detailed in Appendices 1, 2 & 3).

The DIM courses will be achieved via a collaborative process in full consultation of the DIM Capability Team.
