The brief

Worcestershire County Council are seeking a supplier to provide its water, wastewater and Ancillary Support through the WME Water Utilities Framework.

The supplier shall be required to hold and maintain throughout the contract term a valid water supply and sewage license granted by the economic regulator for the Water Sector in England and Wales (Ofwat) in accordance with Section 1 of the Water Act 2014.

The supplier shall comply with the requirements of the associated Wholesale Retail Code and the Market Arrangement Code as specified by the Regulator Ofwat.

The supplier shall have extensive knowledge and experience in dealing with Local Authorities, to support the County Council in providing: - Consolidation billing - A billing system that is compatible and integrates with ES and systems link - A bill validation process - A web portal to submit readings and managing change of tenant - Smart metering for larger sites, to detect leaks and reduce usage - Support in analyzing opportunities for water reduction - Working towards achieving carbon net zero commitments - Building good relationships with your customers Procured using the WME Water Utilities Framework - direct award to WAVE
