0950 The Provision of Roll-on Roll-off Waste Containers
This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
This is a large award for Transport Equipment — above three-quarters of comparable contracts. Based on 15,368 valued Transport Equipment tenders in our corpus.
Essex County Council (the Authority) invites tenders for the provision of the requirement.
Bidders should make themselves fully aware of the content of these General Instructions and Guidance, together with any other information/instructions issued by the Authority during this procurement exercise.
The purchase of the containers is linked to a number of commitments within our new strategy Everyone's Essex, specifically the strategic aim of a high quality environment, along with our commitments on Net Zero, as well as the Essex Vision aim to develop our county sustainably.
The new containers will ensure the continuation of recycling services to residents at RCHWs and will keep centres operating efficiently, supporting the Essex Climate Action Commission's Net Zero targets.
The containers required at the RCHWs will be integral for waste management activities at the RCHWs.
Further details of the requirements can be found in Appendix 2 Specification. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Due to some fundamental changes to the Specification, the Authority have re-issued this procurement, incorporating Version 2 of the Specification, Pricing Schedule and Bidder Guidance.
Bidders are strongly advised to re-download these documents again and re-consider their bid before submitting.
Additionally, the deadline has been extended until Tuesday 18 January 2022.

Matched against the notice text, so this is a floor — the tender pack will demand things the notice never mentions. “Says must” means the quoted sentence itself used obligation language; anything ambiguous is left as a mention.
