The brief

The Insolvency Service is seeking to procure a PPM system that addresses these concerns and allows it to fully automate its reporting process so that data can be entered once at the activity level and managed through a series of configurable dashboards to present reports at each level from delivery through to strategic.

Completing reports and actions across each of the transformation, strategy, and corporate governance (risk management) functions currently relies on predominantly manual processes that make use of Microsoft 365 apps (including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, MS Lists, PowerPoint, MS Project).

This introduces errors, inconsistencies, and delays.

It is also time consuming and prevents resources from spending quality time on adding value.

Moving to an automated tool will help to reduce these issues and create time for people currently working on the manual process to focus on the quality of reporting and supporting delivery through better oversight of the portfolio.

Improved and live reporting should lead to better decision making at a senior level within the agency and there are possible future uses such as incorporating tracking of smaller changes and CI (SMART Ideas).
