The brief

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority (CPCA), working with Peterborough City Council (PCC), is seeking a suitably qualified organisation to fulfil the requirements of Academic Partner in developing the New University of Peterborough.

The Academic Partner will be able to demonstrate its ability to comply with the Office for Students (OfS) Regulatory Framework and will be able to maintain good standing with OfS throughout the life of the New University.

The Academic Partner will be responsible for all academic matters and for developing the practical operational capabilities of the New University.

The Academic Partner will be expected to make a clear commitment to the Vision for an independent university in Peterborough and the associated brand, and to create an institution which reflects the needs, and resonates with the aspirations of, the local population and local businesses.
