Expressions of Interest - Cleaning of communal areas for both Later Life and General Needs social housing
Accent is a Registered Provider of Social Housing (i.e. a Housing Association) with homes spread across England from the south coast all the way up to the Scottish borders.
Wherever possible we are strongly committed to leveraging the money we spend to benefit the communities in which we have homes.
We invite expressions of interest for the delivery of regular cleaning services to the communal areas communal areas of both later life and general needs Social Housing developments in East and South-East Lancashire.
This opportunity is initially for an 11 month contract to deliver approximately 75 hours cleaning per week against an agreed specification and schedule, across 16 geographically diverse sites.
The contract term is restricted to 11 months in order to comply with the commonhold and leasehold reform act 2002.
Accent's will commence the required consultation process to support a longer term procurement in July, and subject to acceptable performance, we would strongly encourage the then incumbent to compete for a more permanent contract.
There are 4 employees from the existing contract who are entitled to TUPE.
Some of these colleagues have worked for Accent through multiple contractors for many years and we would expect them to be transferred into the new contract in good faith.
