South Cambridgeshire District Council is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced company to provide Structural Engineering Services (the Consultant) to the council for civil engineering design and analysis.
The work is to be carried out on SCDC’s properties but may also be carried out on land owned or managed by SCDC.
The estimated contract value is based on 6 assignments in the first year of £25k to £35k per year.
Therefore the overall contract value is between £75k to £105k (estimated) during first initial term (3 years).
SCDC will require the successful contractor to provide a customer focused service and show a commitment to providing an effective service that provides value for money to the Council and its residents.

Important characteristics of the successful contractor: • A member of the institution of Civil Engineers (MICE) or equivalent • Must be able to demonstrate their track record and experience of Airey and other non-traditional construction comparable to our housing stock profile. • A good working knowledge of construction materials is important. • SCDC will require the successful contractor to provide a customer focused service and show a commitment to providing an effective service that provides value for money to the Council and its residents.
