The brief

Cheshire East Council is committed through its statutory obligations and policies to continuously improve the quality of care and support services provided to adult service users.\r \r We are seeking the provision of accommodation based respite support, within the Cheshire East area.

The service will provide accommodation and support for adults (and children 16+ in transition to adulthood) with a learning disability and/or autism, who may display behaviour that challenges, including those with a mental health condition or physical disability. \r \r The service(s) will be delivered at a building or buildings within easy access of the identified locations across Cheshire East. \r \r This service element is one part of a new Adult Respite Support model that focuses on providing modern and flexible respite support. \r \r Cheshire East Council will work closely with the successful Providers in delivering holistic, high quality accommodation based respite service to service users.\r \r The Provider(s) will be responsible for delivering respite provision which includes accommodation, meals, staffing, management, and all other items or services necessary to provide the level of care required to service users whilst they are resident in the service.

The aim is to provide a safe, homely and personalised environment.
