The brief

The Pole Star requires FUEL OIL Bunkers as follows; 70,000L Marine Gas Oil (Seventy Thousand Litres) conforming to ISO8217 with a maximum Sulphur content of 0.1%, to be delivered to the vessel on the morning of Wednesday 22nd April 2020, at Northern Lighthouse Board Base, Gallanach Road, Oban, Argyle, PA34 4LS.

Arrival and commencement is requested at 0900.

Delivery to be by way of Road Tanker, in 2 loads of 35,000L.

The supplier is to supply appropriate Bunker Delivery Note with a Fuel Quality Report and equipment for drawing off samples prior to/during delivery.

Samples will be witnessed by ships crew, no pre-drawn samples.

The vessel will require and retain TWO samples from EACH tanker.

This paperwork and sampling should be in accordance/compliance with the relevant MARPOL Annex VI stipulations and guidance.

Vessel IMO Number is 9211987.

The vessel will be receiving the bunkers via a standard 3" threaded pipe connection.
