The Authority have a requirement for the services of external organisations with the expertise, specialist contacts and networks to assist in raising the profile of the Civil Service as a career among a diverse range of target groups, with a view to increasing applications from candidates who have the potential to pass the Fast Stream and Fast Track selection processes.
The aim is to build sustainable strategic partnerships with the chosen Contractors.
The major groups the Authority requires assistance with are: • Black, Asian, Minority, Ethnic (BAME) undergraduates/graduates; • Lower socio-economic undergraduates/graduates; • Disabled undergraduates/graduates; • Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) undergraduates/graduates; • School and college candidates from underrepresented groups; The contract is for the provision of Outreach Services with a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 Contractors for each of the above named groups The successful Contractors for each Group will be expected to provide proposals to the two Service requirements: Service A: Contractors are required to submit a proposal detailing how they will deliver the ‘core services’ for the Group tendered for.
The ‘core services’ include: • Awareness • Influencing • Skills Development • Research • Provision of Management Information Service B: Will be for services that are requested by the Authority on ad-hoc/innovative basis as they arise during the course of the contract.
It is expected that Contractors in the Group will firstly work to devise a joint proposal to the Authority.
If the requirement does not lend itself to a Group proposal, individual proposals from the Contractors will be requested.
