It works closely with UK Overseas Territories to assist them in creating and maintaining healthy and productive marine ecosystems.
As part of this programme, the Cefas coastal processes team have been working on two projects in Anguilla and Diego Garcia, to help monitor erosion of the coastline.
A large part of this work is helping to improve the understanding of the natural processes that are occurring on the islands through modelling and mapping the historic movement of the coastline.
