The brief

The Authority has a requirement for a professional services Consultant to provide quantity surveyor and principle design support in undertaking a design and build contract (RIBA stages 3-7) for an 800KW solar photovoltaic car port, 400KW battery storage, 10 rapid electric vehicle charging points and 50 fast electric vehicle charging points installed in the rear car park of its County Hall office building at Morpeth, Northumberland, NE61 2EF.

The Authority have completed RIBA Stage 0, 1 & 2 of this Project therefore tenderers are not to price for these elements.

The project has been awarded funding from the England European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020 (ERDF) and all aspects of work undertaken by the Consultant must be fully compliant with ERDF guidelines.
