The brief

The Fenland and East Cambridgeshire Opportunity Area is seeking a provider to offer training in ICT for teaching assistants in Fenland and East Cambridgeshire.

The successful provider will offer training in ICT aimed at Key Stage 2 teaching assistants for schools in Fenland and East Cambridgeshire.

The training must focus on the type of ICT that teaching assistants are expected to use in their day-to-day work.

The training will be offered on a call-off basis, with schools able to decide to sign up for the training.

The successful provider will be required to advertise the training to schools and recruit teaching assistants to this training.

The successful provider must ensure that the training will be based within Fenland and East Cambridgeshire, and will need to be flexible with where the training sessions are based (for example, locating the training within schools and offering sessions in different locations) to ensure that it is accessible to the staff who require it.

Upon completion of the training, the successful provider will submit a summary report to the Opportunity Area team.
