The brief

INCOME OFFICER Rate of Pay:- Paid at Band E (£12.37 ph to worker).

As we expect all duties of the role to be undertaken, the manager is happy to pay £13.99 ph to worker.

Hours:- 37 hours per week and the working hours are: Monday to Thursday 9.00am to 5.30pm and Friday is 9.00am to 5.00pm Start Date: ASAP Contract type: Agency Location: 335 - 337 High Street, Court House, West Bromwich Job Description and Personnel Specification are attached, which also provides more information above the role.

Brief description: We are seeking people with debt management or arrears recovery experience, good telephone manner and customer facing experience.

Experience in housing, in particular the recovery of rent arrears and PSED (Public Sector Equality Duty) or the pre-action protocol is required.

Permanent workers are required to carry out home visits to try and obtain contact with our customers if we have no response from letters and phone calls.

They are required to identify any risks and then carry out home visits alone to try and establish contact and identify any problems within the household.

If there are any risks identified then officers are required to visit in twos.

All visits are logged via a system called Jontek so our officers will log in and out of a system and record what visits they have carried out and completed for their own safety.

If they do not make contact within a certain timescale then the officer will be contacted to ensure they are safe and well.

All visits are logged in the office before leaving and a route planner is left so we are aware of an officers whereabouts.

Please can the agencies send over a CV, 2x up to date references, copy of Terms and Conditions and a will include a driving licence check, including proof of business insurance and MOT.
