This is a large award for Research & Development — above three-quarters of comparable contracts. Based on 20,405 valued Research & Development tenders in our corpus.
***** THIS IS AN AWARD NOTICE, NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION ***** This procurement is being concluded following a mini competition under the CCS Research & Insights RM6126 DPS.
Brief Description of Requirement The overall aim of the project is for DESNZ to receive tailored data sets of Marginal Abatement Cost Curves (MACCs) with their related Business-As-Usual emissions (BAUs).
The datasets will need to have broad consistency, as specified and agreed, with DESNZ internal assumptions (such as on energy demand, energy supply, policy impact analysis and resulting emissions) under a number of scenarios.
These sets are for a central Net Zero Strategy (NZS) (or most recent government decarbonisation plan) aligned and a higher BAU emissions scenarios.
Between the different scenarios, we plan to vary baseline policy assumptions.
Additionally, we require sensitivities that vary Fossil Fuel Price and Growth assumptions.
