The brief

This DPD follows a feasibility study completed in July 2024 under the Greater London Authority's (GLA) Local Energy Accelerator, which identified strong potential for a clean heat network.

The Bayonne area is well-positioned for future expansion, including links to a strategic Hammersmith Town Centre network outlined in the Cross Borough Energy Masterplan, building on the successful delivery of the Civic Campus heat network.

The area also lies within a designated Heat Network Priority Area in the London Plan.
