GR/HGW/Bristol Avon Flood Strategy Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy Services
This is a large award for Construction — above three-quarters of comparable contracts. Based on 64,002 valued Construction tenders in our corpus.
Bristol City Council is engaging the market ahead of issuing a procurement opportunity seeking a multi-disciplinary team to support the Bristol Avon Flood Strategy project.
A multi-disciplinary team is required to develop the approved Outline Business Case (OBC) into the Full Business Case (FBC) including detailed design and to obtain consents for construction.
A lead consultant is required to co-ordinate ground investigation, topographical and environmental surveys, land requirements, and consultation and engagement to develop the designs for consenting (assumed Transport and Works Act Order).
They will then undertake the detailed design (RIBA stage 4) for construction and complete the Full Business Case.
An option to retain the team until the end of the construction period is also being considered.
