The brief

The Enfield IRIS DVA scheme aims to improve the identification of abuse and ensure that victims of domestic abuse are adequately protected and supported.

The project will provide training and advocacy to independent contractors across Enfield together with on-going support to all providers, as well as refresher training to those Enfield general practices who have already been trained.

It is hoped that the scheme will enable support to be offered to DVA victims at an early stage before the abuse becomes a serious risk to mental, emotional and physical health.

The provider will have the knowledge and existing expertise of working within primary care in terms of delivering education and support to Practice staff.

The contract start date will be 01/04/2019 and not the 23/03/2019.
