The brief

Tender Reference: 652ESI The University of Exeter (UOE) wishes to minimise noise disruption to the open spaces on the 1st and 2nd floors of it's ESI building based on the Penryn Campus in Cornwall.

We are inviting contractors to propose sound attenuation solutions.

Early discussions have focused on the introduction of glass screening to one side of the atrium or the introduction of sound absorbent panels around the Atrium wall.

However, we would also welcome other proposals.

The works must fit in and complement the existing building works.

We would expect the supplier to visit the site and in discussion with the client to fully propose the most optimum solution based on the information in this Invitation to Tender and the space as seen.

All tendering activity, including but not restricted to all communications between Tenderers and UOE and all documentation uploaded/submitted, must be conducted through the InTend tender-management system: http://in-tendhost.co.uk/Universityofexeter/asp/home.asp, which is free to use.

Your Tender must be received by 16:00 Hrs GMT on Wednesday 6th May 2015 (via the In-Tend Procurement System) and comply with all of the conditions and instructions set out in this ITT.

The Tender must be headed ‘652ESI’.
