The brief

Job Title Learning and Development Consultants x 2 Rate of Pay: Day rate (Outside IR35) Hours: 37 hours per week Location: Sandwell Council House, Oldbury and Working from home Start Date: ASAP Contract type: Temporary project work until Jan 24, will be reviewed on a 12 week basis Job Description and Personnel Specification are attached, which also provides more information above the role.

Brief description: We are looking for 2x Learning and Development Consultants to design the required volume of training collateral and support the initial roll out of training in relation to the Oracle project.

Candidates need to have the following: o Strong instructional design skills, with experience in designing learning materials to support learners to use new technology/systems. o Demonstrable experience in designing a variety of learning media including: o Instructor led workshops (delivered both remotely and face to face) o System support materials such as process guidebooks, workbooks, quick reference guides, interactive PDFs etc o System simulations o Video - system overviews / demonstrations o elearning - using Articulate Storyline rapid development tool. o Ability to manage relationships with a range of stakeholders, including SMEs, process owners, systems developers, programme team members, Heads of Service etc o Strong verbal and written communication skills. o Experience of delivering interactive learning events both face to face and remotely via MS Teams. o Ability to prioritise activity and manage own workload and timelines. o Experience in supporting the deployment of Oracle Cloud Based ERP systems o Experience in working with Finance Departments (preferable, not essential) o Familiarity with Oracle Guided Learning (preferable, not essential).
