Leeds Trinity University is assessing options for future provision of its student course management system.
Any potential for the current system would need to include the follow functionality: 1.
Microsoft SQL Server based system.

Ability to administer and process ALL aspects of an academic student life cycle, including but not limited to: - Applicant Enquiries - Application Management and Paperless Processing (Direct, UCAS, DFE) - Applicant Interview Administration - Applicant Clearing - Curriculum Management - Student Disability and Accessibility Management - Student Funding Processing and SLC Integration - Student Course Management - Student Module Management - Student Exam Scheduling - Student Results Management - Student Progression and Award Management - Student Graduation Processing and Management - Alumni Management - Student Communications via SMS, Email, web portal - Module diets, selection, and results processing (manual and automated) - Student scheduling and timetabling down to an individual level 3.
General System Functionality: - HESA Processing and Submission - Create and deploy RESTful web service integrations via web services and Publish and subscribe methodology - Data Transform functionality (XSL / XSD / JSON) - Reporting functionality or ability to tie into external reporting products such as SSRS / PowerBI etc. - Ability to run large processes in batch - Ability to initiate and run automated process via automated triggers or data changes - System Access via secure Web Portal or back-office client - Ability to create and tailor online web processes for staff and student to enable processes such Online Programme Registration Module Registration, administration of personal data etc.
Experienced suppliers of student management systems are asked to provide the following information by email to l.glasper@leedstrinity.ac.uk, based on an average implementation: - Price per year / licencing costs - Hosting costs if applicable (or ability to host on Prem) - Likely implementation time - Costs / estimates for assisting with migration from existing systems - System functionality offered against the supplied requirements.
