The brief

CRH is seeking to appoint experienced and capable transport providers, both small and large companies, to deliver a 24/7/365 transportation service that is safe, timely, and responsive to the needs of asylum seekers service users (SU's).

The transport service will include a mixture of short and long-distance journeys, with some requiring out-of-area travel for planned moves.

Please note licensing requirements detailed below.

Providers must demonstrate the capacity and flexibility to manage: •Local, same-day transfers •Regional and cross-regional journeys •Pre-planned long-distance disbursements •Ability to wait up to 30 minutes.

Any minutes over will be charged using the providers pricing model.

Note, we welcome alternative pricing models as part of your application.

To encourage broad participation, the service is divided into regional lots.

Providers may bid for one or multiple lots, which are split into regions. •Lot 1: London (North, South, East, West, Central) •Lot 2: Southwest (Swindon, Gloucester, Bristol, Dorset, Exeter, Plymouth) •Lot 3: Wales (Cardiff, Swansea, North Wales, The Valleys) •Lot 4: Southeast (Hampshire, Portsmouth, Essex, Bournemouth, Brighton, Kent, Greater London, Buckinghamshire, Southampton) •Lot 5: Manston, Kent (Coach service, 8- and 16-seater vehicles)
