CSC23039 Independent Advocacy Service for Parents or Carers in need of additional support - AWARD
This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
This sits in the lower-middle of the Health & Social Care band — a mid-scale opportunity. Based on 32,734 valued Health & Social Care tenders in our corpus.
Worcestershire Children First (WCF) are seeking to commission a service provider who can offer an Independent Advocacy Service to eligible parents/carers within Worcestershire.
When there are concerns regarding the capacity of a parent/carer to look after their child or children who may or may not have Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), social care services may become involved.
Social services may decide to offer targeted family support, implement a Child in Need (CIN) plan or to initiate care proceedings for the child/children to become Child Looked After (CLA).
This can be an extremely emotional and distressing time for those involved and some parents/carers may require additional support, from an Independent Advocate, to aid their understanding of the process and/or assessments.
