The brief

The London's Violence Reduction Unit ("VRU") are interested in the influence of wider school structures and culture, and systemic and structural harms that might put young people at risk of harm and abuse- such as racism and such discriminatory nature of 'adultification bias.' The VRU are committed to encouraging partnerships and innovative practice in preventing and reducing violence and are seeking a provider to pilot an approach that better integrates contextual safeguarding and culturally sensitive support and develop resources to support wide scaling of best practice across London- as well as influencing national practice.
