Section B: Scope The University of Nottingham is seeking a solution to deliver digital preservation capability and technology to the University of Nottingham Libraries and enable us to implement our Digital Preservation and Access Policy http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/manuscriptsandspecialcollections/aboutus/policies/collecting.aspx Digital Preservation forms one strand of a transformative Integrated Scholarly Information Project taking place across the libraries.

The aim of this particular strand of work is: To safeguard the University's digital information assets; to ensure their authenticity, reliability and integrity, and to monitor their usability over time, taking appropriate action to protect usability according to best practice and technology available.

The contract will be for 3 years.

The timeline is to: o Award the contract by the end of June 2019. o Configure and implement new solution during July 2019 o Integrate solution with key existing systems during August-September 2019 o Provide training during August-September 2019.
