Tender for Remedial Works to 2 Schools

The Assets and Transport/ Facilities Management - Environmental Services Division, at the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham will be inviting tenders to be submitted for Remedial Works to Gascoigne Primary School & William Bellamy Primary School on behalf of Children’s Services.

Works comprise the domestic water services replacement and have approximate values as follows: (NB design development is continuing) Gascoigne Primary School Main Building - £140 to £150K William Bellamy Primary school (Junior Building) - £120K to £130K Works Supply and install new domestic water distribution systems in whole or part within each school Building Works Strip out existing domestic water distribution pipe work systems Undertake all builders work and full reinstatement to match existing Envisaged Programme is as follows: Site start 22nd July 2015 - Completion 28th August 2015 It should be noted that the Council are looking for a maximum number of six companies to tender for these works and that the final tender list will be selected based on your submission of previous relevant experience.

Expressions of interest must be submitted by Email by no later than 12 noon on 8th April 2015 to the following email address – sarah.oxley@lbbd.gov.uk Expressions of interest will be evaluated as follows: • Copies of Constructionline Membership and CHAS Membership Certificates or contractor to request and complete a PQQ (LBBD Pre-qualification Questionaire). • Approved plumbers Certificate • Experience in School Works 50% (up to 5 points in total) • Demonstration of ability to complete works in School holiday periods.
