The brief

Bristol City Council are looking to procure an app that we can use to support our work with our care leavers.

We would want the app to be a central hub for information sharing and communication with our young people.

We would need the information to be easily accessible and young person friendly.

We would need to be able to keep the information current and live and would like to co-design the layout with our young people to ensure it is what they want and will use.

A key aim to the project is to consult with care experienced young people on, design and publish a Regional Core offer of support services for care leavers, via an interactive app that can be downloaded to young people's phones.

Therefore, the project is commissioning the design and build of a website and an app for the Southwest Region and local App'.s for 5 of the 6 Local Authorities.

This will involve consultation activity with care experienced young people.

In addition, Additional features will be, including secure messaging/videoing, push notifications and surveys will be built and trialled with BCC only, in the first instance.
